In de stad Gent is een overlastteam opgericht dat zich specifiek richt op sluikstorten en geluidsoverlast. De politiemensen in het team zullen ook gemeentelijk administratieve sancties uitschrijven.<\/p>\n

In het Nieuwsblad meldt de burgemeester van Gent:<\/p>\n

De politiemensen van het overlast-team moeten ervoor zorgen – met de hulp van de camera’s – dat sluikstorters in de toekomst w\u00e9l betrapt worden. \u2018Maar hun taak gaat verder. We willen hen ook inzetten in de strijd tegen allerlei vormen van geluidsoverlast. Dat kan dan gaan van caf\u00e9s over studentenkoten tot ook families die de rust in hun buurt verstoren. In eerste instantie is het telkens de bedoeling om preventief op te treden, maar wie niet horen wil zal moeten voelen – er zullen gemeentelijke administratieve sancties van 120 euro volgen.’<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
